Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge #16

We are back again with a new color challenge.  This week's colors were beautiful, but I did have a hard time with the "Pumpkin Pie".

It's my sister's Birthday July 22nd, so I made this card for her.  She loves butterflys and I hope she likes this one - so, here it is. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS.

Challenge 16

My Card:

Kristinas's Challenge #16

Cardstock: SU Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla.  Ink: Stazon Black, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Sky and Versamark. Accessories: ribbon: SU Certainly Celery 5/8" Grossgrain and Liquid Pearls.  I layered Very Vanilla onto Sky, then layered Certainly Celery.  Stampsets: SU Happy Everything.  Inkadinkado Round Butterfly and Papertrey's "Guidelines". I stamped with Stazon and then used a blender pen and SU ink pads.  I finished it off with a little "Liquid Pearls"

Where Have I Been?

I just can't believe where the time is going.  It's already 1/2 way through July.  Half the way through the Summer....Soon Convention will be here (a couple of weeks).  Finally got done with those swaps.  Made three different kind.  I'll share them with you, as well as the recipie in the next few days.  Now that I've made them, how do I get them there, always a problem.  I can never come up with a good way of swaping without being all thumbs.  Any hints?

I've been concentrating on changing my blog layout.  Bought a whole bunch of HTML and CSS books so I can try to figure that out, along with Photoshop Elements that could be a full time job.  I also have been on the hunt for the new IPhone - Good luck with all that.  Nobody has them, and what do I do with my old one.  I'm on a waiting list, we'll see !!!!!!  For now, I'm good to go with the 2.0.

    • Leo Buscaglia:
The majority of us lead quiet, unheralded lives as we pass through this world. There will most likely be no ticker-tape parades for us, no monuments created in our honor. But that does not lessen our possible impact, for there are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our unique talents. Someone who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have a potential to turn a life around. It's overwhelming to consider the continuous opportunities there are to make our love felt.
